Located on the top of the Irish Hills withs views second to none. We are located just 15 minutes to either downtown San Luis Obipso or the beaches yet it feels much farther removed. The entrace has three steps, otherwise it is all on one level. This is a recently remodeled cotemporary home designed for views and serenity. This is a large home that was built as two separate isolated living spaces. My wife and I live in the top two floors. There is nothing shared from interior living to outdoor decks or patios or entrances. There are two large bedrooms, each with separate full baths. Both are very quiet and isolated. Both are queen beds. The living room has a huge rock fireplace with views all the way up to Piedros Blanco, the lighthouse. Wonderful place to hang or sit and read. The kitchen is a big fun industrial style kitchen with a bar and a Wolf Cooktop with grill. We have a potbelly stove perfect for warming the kitchen area and staring at the coast. There is an outdoor kitchen area directly adjacent with another grill and a wonderful Wood Fired Oven. Perfect for everything from pizza, vegetables, fish, my favorite! There is another outdoor hang spot centered around a fireplace and a bar built into a rock wall. Did I say there were views? We also have views staring down See canyon all the way to Pismo and the Dunes. With binoculars you can actually see RV’s driving down th beach. On the forth of July you can watch fireworks from Pismo, Morro Bay and Cayucous. We have a small pool situated behind the house, well protected from any winds. it is shaped like a guitar and has a cascading waterfall draining into the pool. it is roughly 35' x 9'. There is a very spacious quiet feel to the house, perfect for two couples or a small family. Please, this is not a Party House! You may certainly celebrate and enjoy but please no parties! No gatherings. Also located on the property is a completly detached cottage perfect for a couple or small family. Please just ask for availability. We provide plenty for a breakfast. Once inside you will see the second bedroom off to the left with the stairs to the upper level in front of you. The first bedroom is just across a tiny hallway from the second bedroom with the full bathroom to the left if you are facing west. Go to the upper level to enjoy the awesome view of the Pacific Ocean. You can enjoy the view from in the house sitting and/or laying on the oh-so-comfortable couch. You can also enjoy the view from the deck. We have watched many dolphins playing, seals and an occasional whale. It is also rather entertaining to watch the pelicans dive into the water. It seems the weather does not hinder the surfers, or die-hard swimmers in the slightest. There is always something to watch in the beautiful Pacific Ocean. When you are finished admiring (if that is possible) the beautiful view you will find a fully equipped kitchen.
